ITIL® 4 Foundation

This course prepares you for the examination leading to the Foundation certificate in IT service management

The course is designed as an introduction to ITIL 4 and enables you to understand a more holistic view of IT service management. There is a greater focus on IT and business alignment, ensuring that IT delivers real business value. The concepts of value co-creation, value streams, and the evolution of the ITIL processes into more robust practices are key.


While the knowledge from ITIL v3 is still highly relevant here are a few additional changes covered in this course:

  • The 26 processes and functions have evolved into 34 practices, coming from general business, service management, and technical management. This course focuses on 15 of them.
  • The Service Value System (SVS) which is a flexible and more evolved ecosystem
  • The Service Value Chain (SVC) the backbone of the SVS which describes how all the activities and resources work together to create practical solutions that deliver the desired outcome to your customers.
  • The four dimensions of Service Management
  • The seven guiding principles
  • Key concepts from Lean IT, Agile, DevOps, and Organizational Change Management, and why these are important to deliver business value
  • Guidance on successfully navigating a Digital Transformation journey

ITIL® 4 Create Deliver and Support (CDS)

(3 Day Course)

The ITIL®4 Create, Deliver & Support course covers the ‘core’ service management activities and expands the current scope of ITIL to cover the ‘creation’ of services. This module focuses on the integration of different value streams and activities to create, deliver, and support IT-enabled products and services while also covering supporting practices, methods, and tools.

ITIL® 4 Direct Plan and Improve (DPI)

(3 Day Course)

ITIL 4 Direct, Plan & Improve is aimed at managers of all levels involved in shaping direction and strategy or developing a continually improving team. It will cover both practical and strategic elements.

ITIL® 4 High Velocity IT (HVIT)

(3 Day Course)

ITIL 4 High Velocity IT is aimed at managers of all levels involved in shaping direction and strategy or developing a continually improving team. It will cover both practical and strategic elements.

ITIL® 4 Drive Stakeholder Value (DSV)

(3 Day Course)

ITIL 4 Drive Stakeholder Value is aimed at managers of all levels involved in shaping direction and strategy or developing a continually improving team. It will cover both practical and strategic elements.

ITIL® 4 Digital and IT Strategy (DITS)

(3 Day Course)

ITIL 4 Digital and IT Strategy is aimed at managers of all levels involved in shaping direction and strategy or developing a continually improving team. It will cover both practical and strategic elements. As such, it is the universal module, that will be a key component of both, ITIL 4 Managing Professional and ITIL 4 Strategic Leader streams.

ITIL® 4 Managing Professional Transition (MPT)

(3 Day Course)

The ITIL®4 Managing Professional Transition course is designed for candidates who have already invested in ITIL v3, the ITIL4 Managing Professional Transition module provides a straight-forward transition path across to ITIL4.


The transition module enables candidates to recognize their previous achievements while still gaining the up-to-date skills and knowledge needed to navigate the digital service economy. It consists of a mandatory 5-day training and exam at the end of the course. Successful candidates are awarded the ITIL4 Managing Professional designation.

ITIL® v3 Foundation (2011)

The Foundation level is the entry level qualification which offers you a general awareness of the key elements, concepts and terminology used in the ITIL® service lifecycle, including the links between lifecycle stages, the processes used and their contribution to service management practices.

ITIL® v3 Practitioner

The ITIL® Practitioner certification offers practical guidance on how to adopt and adapt the ITIL® framework to support your business’ objectives. It is the next step after ITIL® Foundation. ITIL® Practitioner does not replace any of the existing ITIL® certifications and is complementary to and fits within the current ITIL® certification scheme.

ITIL® v3 Intermediates

The Intermediate level qualification is the next stage, following Foundation, in the ITIL® scheme. It has a modular structure with each module providing a different focus on IT Service Management.

The certificate is awarded to candidates who have achieved a range of ITIL® qualifications and have achieved a well rounded, superior knowledge and skills base in ITIL® Best Practices.

DevOps Foundation

This course introduces the student to DevOps, the cultural and professional movement that stresses communication, collaboration, integration and automation in order to improve the flow of work between software developers and IT operations professionals.

They help students take the theoretical concepts of ITIL education and move them into practical scenarios gaining a deeper understanding of how they would apply these practices in their own organization, which is of great value to them.
